Responsibilities
- Reviews and recommends State Transportation Improvement
Plan projects for their counties
- Reviews other plan documents and recommends changes/
new projects
- Identifies transportation issues and needs
- Maintains a work program for planning
- Quarterly meetings in Birmingham with Committee members from all
four counties

- One Chief Administrative
Officer from municipalities over 1,000 population (8
seats)
- One County Economic Development Director (4 seats)
- One ALDOT District (County) Engineer (4 seats)
- One Rural Public Transportation provider Directors

- One Area Agency on Aging representative (4 seats)
- RPC Transportation Coordinator (Staff)
- RPC Board Member
- One ALDOT Third Division Engineer
- One ALDOT Fifth Division Engineer
